Midday cotton futures are 5 to 23 points in the red so far for Turnaround Tuesday. New crop December prices are trading at a 1.77 cent inverse to nearby May ahead of the Acreage Intentions report for tomorrow. The dollar rally continues as the Dollar Index is up another 0.32% at midday.

USDA’s DSQ report noted 2,640 bales sold. The Cotlook A index was back up by 2 cents on March 29 to 87.10 cents/lb. USDA’s AWP for cotton to 68.55 cents/lb, and is good through Thursday.

May 21 Cotton  is at 80.36, down 13 points,

Jul 21 Cotton  is at 81.37, down 23 points,

Dec 21 Cotton  is at 78.6, down 5 points
